Salty caramel was invented by the French pastry chef Henri Le Roux in 1977, originally called "caramel au beurre salé". Did you know, there is no need for eggs in our creamy caramel ice cream recipe – actually all our ice creams are free from egg yolk. Good for the chicken and your tummy.
